Terms of service.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website and the services provided by Katie Louise Henderson ("we," "our," or "us"). By booking a workshop or engaging with our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not book or use our services.
1. Services Provided
We offer various services, including in-person workshops, personal training sessions, nutrition and naturopathy consultations, and virtual training programs. The specific terms related to each service type are outlined in the relevant sections below.
2. Payment & Booking
Payment is required in full at the time of booking for all services. By submitting payment, you confirm that the information provided is accurate and complete.
3. Cancellations & Refunds
Workshops (including multi-week series)
Cancellations made within 7 days of the first workshop session are non-refundable.
Cancellations made more than 7 days in advance are eligible for a full refund or credit toward future services, as per our discretion.
No refunds or credits will be given for missed sessions once the series has commenced.
Personal Training Sessions
A minimum of 12 hours’ notice is required to reschedule a session.
Sessions cancelled or rescheduled with less than 12 hours' notice will be forfeited and are non-refundable.
Nutrition/Naturopathy Consultations
A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required to reschedule.
Cancellations or changes made with less than 24 hours' notice will be forfeited and are non-refundable.
Strength Flow Virtual Training (subscription)
No refunds are provided for this service.
You may cancel your subscription at any time, and access will continue until the end of your current billing cycle.
No pro rata refunds are available for partial months.
4. Recording & Participant Consent
All workshop sessions are recorded (including in-person workshops). These recordings may include footage of the instructor's content as well as participant questions and interactions.
Recordings may be made available online for educational or promotional purposes. This may include access by other workshop participants or a wider audience.
By participating in the workshop, you acknowledge and consent to being recorded.
If you do not wish to be visible or identifiable in the recording, please notify us in advance via email at hello@katiehenderson.com.au. We will take reasonable steps to ensure your image and voice are excluded from the footage (e.g. placing you outside the camera frame, anonymising your voice or name if necessary).
You can still fully participate in the workshop even if you choose not to be recorded.
Your privacy and comfort are important to us. We handle all recordings in line with the Australian Privacy Act 1988. For more details, please refer to our [Privacy Policy].
5. Intellectual Property
All content provided through our workshops, consultations, and virtual services (including videos, PDFs, handouts, and other materials) is protected by intellectual property laws. You agree not to copy, distribute, or create derivative works from any materials provided without our prior written consent.
6. User Conduct
You agree to behave respectfully during workshops, personal training sessions, and other services. Disruptive or harmful behavior may result in the immediate termination of services without refund.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses that occur as a result of participating in our workshops, consultations, or any other services. You participate at your own risk and are responsible for consulting with a medical professional if you have any health concerns.
8. Privacy
We value your privacy. Personal information collected will only be used in accordance with our [Privacy Policy]. We will not share or sell your information to third parties without your consent, except as required by law.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and your continued use of our services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
