Steamed Veg with “Cheezy” Sauce

Sometimes, you just want cheese. And I get that this recipe is not the dairy cow original. BUT!!! It sure does hit the spot when you’ve got those health goals! Sometimes just tossing some veggies into a steamer and smothering them with ooey gooey savoury potato cheese is the next best thing, and all you want before you go to bed.

This recipe is very easy. Check out the Veggie “Cheese” Sauce recipe here, and simply toss this together with steamed veg - and away you go! You can have this as a side dish or serve it up as a main meal! Either way, you won’t believe how FILLING it is, and you’ll want to go back for more! I have intentionally left nutritional yeast out of this recipe as the amounts most people put in can disrupt digestion a little in my opinion. If you want a tiny sprinkle, it won’t break the bank, but it tastes absolutely delicious without it anyway! The nori flakes help bring out the umami!
